scouts Meet Termtime Monday evenings 6pm – 8pm.

Tredegar scouts meetings are in term time Monday evenings 6pm – 8pm. scouts as a movement are a fully inclusive and are open to all young people ages 10-14.

the aim of scouts in any part pf the country, or world for that matter, is to challenge young people in order for them to develop them selves. the movement is geared to empowering individuals and rewarding effort. in Tredegar we do this during the meetings, scouts are offered the chance to take part in a varied program that will push them while still being fun, each meeting is broken up with badge work and games, not all meeting will be indoors when the weather is favourable we will take the program out side as we aim for 80% of outdoor based activities with Scouting.

the leaders will also arrange hikes and camps that can vary from the troop over a weekend to much larger camps that can include thousands of young people. while on camp the scouts are given more responsibility and encouraged to succeed in any activity big or small.

Tredegar scouts is a new group with dedicated leaders who both strive to give the young people a chance at activities and adventure all young people want.
